Aston Villa set to swoop on Middlesbrough’s Tuncay

Aston Villa are reportedly making a move for Middlesbrough’s Tuncay Sanli.

The Turkey international was brilliant for ‘Boro in an otherwise poor campaign which saw the get relegated to the Championship.

With the World Cup approaching, the Turkish captain would love to be playing the highest quality football he can and with interest from both Aston Villa and Liverpool, it seems he may get his wish.

he should go to aston villa becauce he needs to be getting ready for the world cup and we no aston villa is better then boro so if he goes to boro he would be getting better traing and it would be good for turkey as well

I'm positive he would leave Boro and join one of the Premiership clubs. It's nice to see Aston Villa and Liverpool chasing his signature though I personally feel Aston Villa would be a better move for him to get some playing time and most importantly, first team football before the World Cup next year. He would probably be featured alot on the bench at Liverpool or played out of position, just like what happened with Robbie Keane.

brilliant forward.
