Aston Villa striker John Carew is the latest established player from the English Premier League being linked with MLS club LA Galaxy.
The 31-year old Norway international is on his last legs at Villa Park and could be on the move as early as this January but the likelihood is that he will remain in England's Midlands until his contract expires in the summer.
Carew said in an interview on dagbladet.no that he is favouring a move to Los Angeles once his playing days in Europe are over.
"After Villa I do not think there will be more Premier League in me," said the former Rosenborg, Valencia, Besiktas and Lyon man.
"Next time I will move on and I will (move) to a non-prestigious league.
"Of course I want to play there (in LA)."
Carew has managed just six league starts for a total of four appearances under Gerard Houllier with Villa this term after netting 10 times in the top flight last season.
