Aston Villa striker Darren Bent has been loaned to Championship club Derby County.
The 30-year old former England international has finished a short-term spell with Brighton & Hove Albion but will now spend the remainder of the 2014/15 season with the Rams.
Bent has found game time at Villa hard to come by this term but now has the opportunity for regular minutes under with the Steve McClaren-managed Derby who sit third on the tier two table, three points behind leaders AFC Bournemouth.
Bent made five appearances for the Seagulls, scoring two goals, which came after seven substitute outings for Villa in the Premier League earlier in the campaign.
