Aston Villa are rivaling Birmingham City for Everton winger Aaron Lennon.

The Express & Star says Villa boss Steve Bruce could battle Birmingham City in a deal for Lennon.

The Villa boss was linked with the Englishman during his time at Hull City, and that interest may have carried over to his new employers as a loan deal could be on the cards.
