Aston Villa have returned to the negotiating table for Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair.
Villa want to take Sinclair on-loan for the remainder of the season, but City are insisting on a cash sale.
City have wanted £3.5 million for the ex-Swansea City player, but may now be willing to accept a compromise.
Talks have resumed in the last 48 hours and a deal could even be completed before Villa travel to Arsenal on Sunday.
