Aston Villa have recalled striker Andreas Weimann from his loan at Watford.

Weimann was originally due to stay at Vicarage Road until January but has now returned to Bodymoor Heath under the 28-day rule.

He resumed training with Alex McLeish's squad this morning.

As well as scoring three goals in two Austrian U21 internationals during his Hornets tenure, the 20-year-old started in three matches under Sean Dyche.
