USA international midfielder Michael Bradley is wanted at Aston Villa.
PA Sport says Villa are close to bringing in Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Bradley on-loan.
Bradley is the son of USA national coach Bob Bradley, who was linked with the Villa job after Martin O'Neill left the club.
The 23-year-old, who was a key part of his country's 2010 World Cup squad, moved to Germany from Dutch side Heerenveen in the summer of 2008.
