Aston Villa are interested in bringing in Liverpool's Ben Woodburn on a season-long loan, according to Sky Sports.

The 18-year-old winger is highly rated by Reds' manager Jurgen Klopp but the German would still prefer a loan deal for the player for the upcoming season.

Villa's new owners, Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, have invested significant funds into the club, which now doesn't need to sell their best players.

Instead, manager Steve Bruce is looking for recruitments and has identified young Woodburn as one of the targets.

However, Wigan Athletic and Sheffield United are also interested for the starlet.
