Aston Villa are planning a bid for Cardiff City fullback Adam Matthews.
The 18 year-old Wales international has been followed by Manchester United and Arsenal, but has pledged his future to Cardiff.
The Mirror says Villa boss Martin O'Neill is also plotting a move for Cardiff starlet Matthews as soon as they ship out wantaway Luke Young.
