Aston Villa not giving up on Nurnberg star Hiroshi Kiyotake

Aston Villa are expected to try again for Nurnberg midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake.

The Japan international played in the Confederations Cup and has impressed in the Bundesliga where he made 31 appearances.

Nurnberg are reluctant to lose the midfielder and would want £7.5m.

Sporting director Martin Bader said: "Such inquiries honour us, but Hiroshi is here to stay."
