English trio Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Hull City are involved in a battle to secure the services of Ravel Morrison, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport.

While Morrison's talent has been undoubted, there are certainly a lot of question marks regarding his temperament and following struggles at Manchester United and West Ham United, the midfielder has failed to impress at Italian side Lazio as well.

Nonetheless, a number of clubs are willing to take the risk of signing Morrison and it has been claimed that Championship pair Villa and the Magpies have joined Hull in the race to sign the 23-year-old in January, especially as he is being made available for just £600,000 by Lazio.
