West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis is of the belief that Aston Villa have to remain patient with Tim Sherwood.
The former Tottenham boss has overseen two Premier League losses since taking the reins from Paul Lambert late last month but Pulis is confident he is the right man for the job.
Villa are sitting second bottom on the table without a win in 12 outings but Baggies boss Pulis feels things at Villa Park can be turned around before the end of the season.
"I've got a lot of time for Tim Sherwood," said Pulis as Albion prepare for Tuesday's West Midlands derby at Villa.
"I think he's a good coach and I think he's a good manager and I'm sure he will be a success.
"He just needs the time there to turn it around. I think Villa have appointed a really top man."
