Aston Villa are making a late move for wreck QPR hopes of signing DJ Campbell.
Blackpool announced last week they had accepted a bid from QPR for their star striker, but personal terms are still to be struck.
Campbell is eager to return to the Premier League and could have his head turned by the more established Villa.
The People says Villa are actively seeking to trump QPR for Campbell's signature.
