Aston Villa's Ashley Westwood is set to be sidelined for up to four weeks.
The 24-year old midfielder sustained a medial ligament injury in the weekend's 2-1 win over Leicester City which forced him off on a stretcher in the 44th minute.
It was initially believed that Westwood would miss just one or two matches but Villa have confirmed that he will be 'out for three to four weeks' meaning he could miss as many as five matches.
Westwood's injury adds to Villa's problems in the medical room which already houses captain Ron Vlaar (calf), Nathan Baker (knee), Libor Kozak (broken leg) and Philippe Senderos (calf).
