Aston Villa are in talks with Manchester City regarding a deal for Scott Sinclair.
Sky Sports is of the belief that Villa are keen to sign the 25-year old winger who has struggled for opportunities at City since joining from Swansea City for £6.2million in 2012.
There are a number of Premier League clubs showing interest in Sinclair but it is suggested that Villa are leading the way for a possible permanent deal this January.
Former Chelsea youngster Sinclair has made just 19 appearances for City since his arrival and spent time on loan with West Bromwich Albion last season.
