After their swoop for Feyenoord pair Ron Vlaar and Karim El Ahmadi, Villa boss Paul Lambert is now keeping tabs on Ajax midfielder Siem de Jong.

The agent of the Ajax captain confirmed the interest of Premier League clubs over the summer and his style of play is admired by Lambert.
