Aston Villa keeper Siegrist plays in front of record Solihull Moors crowd

Aston Villa goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist was between the posts for Solihull Moors in their 1-1 draw with FA Cup third round qualifying opponents Worcester City.

The match was played out in front of a record of almost 1,000 fans.

Former Villa striker Stefan Moore opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time but veteran forward Deon Burton smashed in a late equaliser to level the scores on the official Non-League Day.

It means that Moors, who performed in front of 923 fans at The Automated Technology Group Stadium, will have to do it all again on Tuesday night as they look to continue their cup adventure.
