Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given feels Richard Dunne is in the form of his life.
Given gets the perfect view of Dunne's performances as he's guarding the goal behind him for both sides.
He told Villa's website: "He has been a man mountain. But I have seen that and said that for a number of years. I have played behind him many times.
"He is a dominant figure at the back and he's started the season so, so strongly.
"I'm sure he'll have a great campaign. He's looking as good as he's ever done.
"He has been truly unbelievable. He got huge praise back in Ireland for his performance against Russia and rightly so. His performances for Villa have been top drawer too.
"That's great credit to him for the way he has applied himself. For me personally, it's great to be playing behind a man who prides himself on clean sheets.
"It's great to have James Collins there too - the pair of them are close off the pitch as mates and I think that shows on the pitch.
"They are very close - that shows. It's a good thing to have. They really go in on matchday and chuck their heads where others might not chuck their feet. That's a fantastic trait to have.
"Dunnie's got to be extremely pleased with his form - and I'm extremely happy with his form too!
"He knows that as a footballer you go into the next game and have to perform again. You have to do that for the whole season. Dunnie knows that.
"We will try and keep it going."
