Aston Villa are eyeing Torino midfielder Blerim Dzemaili.

The Daily Mail says the Switzerland midfielder joined Bolton from FC Zurich two years ago but his spell at the Reebok was disrupted by a serious knee injury and he made just one appearance in an FA Cup tie against Sheffield United.

However Dzemaili, 23, has since revived his career at Torino and is attracting interest from both Villa and Liverpool.

The Italian club are struggling to keep hold of him following their relegation to Serie B last season and a bid in the region of £6m could see him returning to the Premier League.
