Aston Villa hero Steve Hodge expects Jack Grealish to be sold if they're relegated.

Hodge doesn't expect Grealish, 20, who is on England manager Roy Hodgson's radar despite being banished to play with the reserves after a series of off-the-field scrapes earlier in the season, to be at Villa if they drop to the Championship.

“I hope Jack can inspire something special so they stay up," said Hodge to the Daily Star Sunday.

“But going on how Randy Lerner sold Christian Benteke and Fabian Delph last year without replacing them with the same quality, it doesn't bode well."
