French football expert Philippe Auclair suggests that Aston Villa have taken a gamble on Yacouba Sylla.
The 22-year old defensive midfielder joined Villa from Ligue 2 club Clermont for around £1.7million and Auclair suggested to the BBC that it was a surprising transfer fee.
"The amount spent really surprised me," he said. Adding that Villa had taken a 'bit of a gamble'.
