New Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish has been handed a £40 million summer transfer budget.
The Sunday Mirror says McLeish will have a £40million war chest to help him hit the ground running in his new job at Aston Villa.
The former Scotland boss, who sparked a Midlands storm when he walked out of Birmingham a week ago, is being officially introduced as Villa's manager tomorrow.
But as soon as he's finished taking questions on his controversial decision to move across the second city he will start his real work to restore the club to the top six.
