Former Aston Villa defender Martin Laursen believes Christian Benteke has the ability to play for the biggest clubs in Europe.

The Belgian striker is a target for Liverpool and could be on the move from Villa Park this summer which is no surprise to Danish great Laursen.

"I'm sure that there are many, many teams in the Premier League that are looking to sign him. He's good enough to play in the best teams," the former Villa favourite told talkSPORT.

"He is vital, that's for sure. He has scored a lot of goals and is great to watch. I hope that he will stay and do well for Villa, but they can also get a lot of money for him."
