Rudy Gestede is set to make the Aston Villa fans angry by leaving the club for fierce local rivals West Bromwich Albion.

Reports suggest that the 28-year-old striker will be the subject of a £7million bid from the Baggies who are keen to strengthen their attack this winter.

Gestede has emerged on the radar of Tony Pulis in recent times and although Villa have not made him available in the January market, West Midlands derby rivals Albion are expected to go after him.

Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace are also watching Gestede's situation closely.

The Benin international joined Villa from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2015 for around £6m.
