Aston Villa forbidden to take Arsenal emblazoned flag into Wembley

A huge £3,000 Aston Villa supporters flag has been banned by the Football Association from the FA Cup final

Fan group My Old Man Said brought together more than 200 Villa fans to raise the money for the flag which reads: 'Never mind the Arsenal here's the Aston Villa' but the FA have prohibited them from bringing it into Wembley on Saturday because it contains the name of their opponents.

The banner is inspired by UK rock band The Sex Pistols' infamous album from 1977, 'Never Mind the B******s, Here's the Sex Pistols.'

Many fan groups including Arsenal's have given their backing to the banner but the FA do not agree with the sentiment expressed and have told organisers it will not be allowed into the national stadium.
