Aston Villa fan banned for three years

An Aston Villa has been banned for three years after Saturday's pitch invasion.

The Mirror says David Moore admitted failing to comply with a football banning order at Birmingham Magistrates' Court.

The 26-year-old was also handed a 12-week curfew and a community service order.

Moore, of Morris Croft, Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, was one of 17 people arrested following the disturbances at Villa Park.

At the time he was subject to another football banning order imposed in April 2013.

West Midlands Police said there was no suggestion Moore had been involved in the disorder itself.

The new ban prevents him attending any UK football stadium to watch a match for the next three years.
