Aston Villa are eyeing West Brom midfielder Jake Livermore.
The Sun says Livermore, 28, looks certain to go down with West Brom after getting cut adrift at the foot of the table.
But he is among the players who are attracting interest from clubs who want to keep him in the top flight.
Villa boss Steve Bruce signed Livermore at Hull and helped him through his failed drug test, when he took cocaine to cope with grief following the death of his new-born child.
He wants to add quality to his squad for the Premier League and should also get Livermore for around the £10million West Brom paid, as they will look to trim their squad for the Championship.
