Aston Villa are making a fresh move for former Chelsea captain John Terry.

The Daily Star says Villa could yet re-sign the former England captain with his expected switch to Spartak Moscow in doubt.

Terry has passed a medical and agreed a mega £3m pay-packet with the Russian side.

But he's got cold feet over completing the move, putting Villa back in the running.

They can afford to pay Terry the mammoth £60,000-a-week wages he's after following their takeover by mega-rich investors assef Sawiris and Wes Edens over the summer.
