Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood is eyeing off several of his former Tottenham players.

The Daily Mail says he has identified Andros Townsend, Emmanuel Adebayor and Tom Carroll as summer targets.

Sherwood will hope to use his relationship with the trio to persuade them to move north to Villa Park.

All three players are on the fringes of Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino's first team plans.
