Aston Villa are chasing Blackpool goalkeeper Matt Gilks.
The Mirror says Villa boss Alex McLeish is ready to make a surprise raid on Blackpool for Scotland keeper Gilks.
McLeish sent goalkeeping coach Terry Gennoe to watch Gilks in action at the weekend, as he prepares to lose current back-up Brad Guzan in the summer.
