Aston Villa want Carlo Ancelotti as new manager.
The Sunday Mirror says Randy Lerner, Villa's American owner, has been canvassing his trusted allies for their opinions and the overwhelming view is that the former Chelsea and AC Milan boss would be a real coup for them.
The big challenge for Villa though will be to come up with an attractive salary package to keep Ancelotti in England.
The Italian coach knows he will attract interest from his home land now that he's available to take a job.
