Aston Villa chairman Randy Lerner has admitted disappointment over some of his players not making England's World Cup squad.
Lerner will take a keen interest in England and believes Villa should have more representatives than just James Milner, Emile Heskey and Stephen Warnock in Fabio Capello's squad.
"Yes, there was a little disappointment about there only being three Villa players in the squad," Lerner told the Birmingham Mail.
"I felt Ashley (Young) and Gabby (Agbonlahor) should have been in.
''I don't get it. I don't think it's a true reflection on their season.
"Both players have demonstrated what they can contribute and did last year as well. Ashley can change a game in 20 seconds."
