Aston Villa skipper Micah Richards has lashed out at Ian Wright after the Arsenal legend criticised his leadership in the 2-0 loss to Norwich City.
When analysing one of Norwich's goals as a pundit on BBC's Match of the Day, Wright said: "That's the captain (Richards). He's got to make more of an effort than that. These are the reasons they are going down."
Richards took to Twitter to issue his response, saying Wright's criticism of him is 'not on'.
"I respected you as a player! And your (sic) not a bad pundit but talking about me like that isn't on!!," Richards tweeted.
"What has captain got to do with it?
"I can take constructive Criticism (sic) but not this!"
