Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood believes they've landed a bargain in Rudy Gestede.
Villa paid £6million for Blackburn forward Gestede to join them on a five-year contract last week.
Sherwood said: “The size of the guy and his aerial presence is immense - better than anything I've seen around in English football.
“He hasn't played in the Premier League up to now, but he's someone who's capable of doing it.
“His goal-scoring record is second to none. Everyone talks about Jordan Rhodes, but Rudy outscored him last season. People are talking about £11m for Rhodes, so we think we've got a bargain there with Rudy.
“He terrorises defenders in the air.
"If he can do it to the defenders in the Championship then he should be able to do it in the Premier League."
