Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish is facing the sack.

The Telegraph says McLeish is expected to pay the price for a season of underachievement and be relieved of his duties by club owner Randy Lerner.

Lerner has flown in from America to speak with McLeish along with chief executive Paul Faulkner in the aftermath of yesterday's 2-0 defeat at Norwich, which was described as "woeful" by the manager.
