Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has no plans to discuss new terms.
The 43-year-old remains upbeat about his plans for the club going forward.
Asked about extending his current contract, Lambert said: "It's not a conversation I have had with Randy (Lerner).
"I have great respect for him. I signed three years here, there's two more to go.
"But it's not about me. This football club is more important than anyone. My job is to keep building it. It's been a really hard year. We deserve incredible credit for what we have done.
"This football club has a magnificent history but you have to keep evolving as time goes on. It's not a small project."
