Aston Villa boss Remi Garde insists he is unconcerned over the makeup of his backroom team.

Garde's former club Lyon resisted Villa's attempts to prise away Gerald Baticle and Bruno Genesio.

“I don't want to rush and make a decision too early and then regret it a few weeks after," he said.

“At the moment I am okay with the way that I am with my two assistants. There are people in this football club in the academy or around the club who have already been involved in the first team.

“I have only been here a few days so I want to take a little more time before deciding something else."
