Beram Kayal is considering his options at Celtic.
The People says Aston Villa and Bolton Wanderers are ready to battle it out for Celtic's Israeli midfield star Kayal - who wants a big-money move in the summer.
Villa boss Gerard Houllier is keen to land highly-rated Kayal, 23, after being tipped off about him by his close friend Luis Fernandez, the Israel coach.
Houllier sees him as a perfect addition to his side with Bulgarian Stiliyan Petrov and free agent Nigel Reo-Coker on the way out .
Kayal's wages and £3million fee would also fit neatly with Villa's tight budget.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle is also keen on Kayal.
