Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has made an £8 million offer for West Brom defender Curtis Davies.

The Daily Mail says while West Brom will try to hold out for a fee in the region of £10m, it is likely that O'Neill will land his man despite interest from Tottenham and Arsenal.

Davies, a £3m signing from Luton two seasons ago, became the second-youngest captain in West Brom's history just six months after his arrival.
