Aston Villa are interested in signing Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon, reports the Daily Mail.

The report claims that discussions are already underway over a £5million deal between the two clubs.

The 28-year-old was also a subject of interest from Everton following his impressive loan spell in the second-half of last season at Goodison Park.

Now it appears that Villa have stolen the march and are most likely to sign the diminutive speedster who could reunite with Spurs boss Tim Sherwood in the West Midlands.
