Aston Villa are monitoring Steve Bruce's situation at Hull City.

The People says Bruce is contemplating departing current club Hull at the end of the season.

Former Blues boss Bruce has been frequently linked with the job at Villa in recent weeks, with the newly installed football board at Villa Park searching for Championship expert - Bruce has been promoted from the division twice with Blues and once with Hull.

Bruce is said to be still frustrated on missing out on Andre Gray in the summer, who ended up at Burnley, and is considering an exit regardless of the division the Tigers are in.
