Bury centre-back Jacob Bedeau is a target for a host of major clubs.

The Daily Mail says Aston Villa are chasing Bedeau.

The 17-year-old has been impressing scouts this season after he was given his professional debut by caretaker-manager Chris Brass at the age of 16 in a League One clash against Millwall in November.

Liverpool, Manchester United and City have already checked on his progress but Villa are hopeful of getting a deal done first.

Bury have produced some high calibre youngsters in recent years with 16-year-old forward Callum Styles also attracting attention.
