Aston Villa boss Remi Garde is eager to lure Loic Remy away from Chelsea.
The French tactician is determined to bring in some attacking quality in the January transfer window and is set to enquire about Remy's availability.
The 28-year-old has struggled for regular game time at Stamford Bridge since arriving from QPR in the summer of 2014 and the possibility of being Villa's number one striker may appeal.
According to The Mirror, Garde is hoping to use his contacts at former club Lyon to try and convince the former Les Gones youngster to make the move from London to the Midlands in a bit to revive Villa's flailing campaign.
