Aston Villa boss Remi Garde turned on Jack Grealish during their FA Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers.

Grealish , 20, was singled out during the interval for his poor performance by Villa manager Garde – as the player's startled team-mates simply looked on.

A source close to the player told the People: “Jack's been out with bronchitis for a few weeks now and has been feeling his way back into it.

“He didn't play well in the first half against Wycombe. But he wasn't on his own – and he didn't feel being singled out by the manager was fair. He has been made the scapegoat. But he wasn't the only one who did not perform."

Frenchman Garde used his post-match press conference to announce that he 'hadn't seen what he wanted' from the starlet.
