Benoit Assou-Ekotto has described Tottenham's next 10 league games as 'cup finals' as they strive to stay third on the table.
Spurs find themselves just one point ahead of North London rivals Arsenal following their 1-0 loss to Everton on the weekend and the Gunners' 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Newcastle United last night.
With third spot still up for grabs, Assou-Ekotto is eyeing a strong finish to the campaign so the club can produce their first finish above Arsenal since 1995.
"We have 10 more league games until the end of the season and for us, it will be 10 cup finals.
"We started the game at Everton 45 minutes late - we conceded the goal in the first half and couldn't come back.""When you want to finish third in the Premier League, every game is difficult," said the left-back.
