Benoit Assou-Ekotto hopes to cap off a perfect week for Tottenham with victory over Liverpool today.
Spurs go into the game on the back of wins at Arsenal and over Werder Bremen.
"It's another difficult game for us," said Assou-Ekotto in the Official Tottenham Match Programme. "Liverpool want to return to the top four. We took their place and they want it back!
"They have some very good players but for some reason they did not have a good start to the season.
"We certainly won't have a comfortable game like we did on Wednesday, especially with players like Fernando Torres on the pitch, although Steven Gerrard is out and I know he is a very big player for Liverpool.
"But I'm confident we can continue our good week with a good result."
