Tottenham defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto believes Emmanuel Adebayor will not have any problems with the Spurs fans.
The former Arsenal striker is on loan at White Hart Lane from Manchester City and there are some doubts flying around North London but Assou-Ekotto is confident all will be well.
"I don't think there will be any trouble with the Spurs fans and Emmanuel," Assou-Ekotto told skysports.com.
"The fans when they come to the stadium they come to watch football and give their best to the team and I am sure they will support Emmanuel.
"For sure when he used to play for Arsenal the fans did not like him, but for us everyone will love him if he scores 25 goals this season.
"Emmanuel is a great player and I believe he will be a great signing for Spurs this season."
