Roberto de Assis said: "Milan made an offer in the summer.

"It was for £40 million. But the operation didn't get off the ground."

Reacting to Spanish TV reports last night that Milan would have representatives in Porto Alegre for talks with his brother, Assis added: "I am Roberto Nostradamus and can predict the future.

"Ronaldinho is contracted to Barcelona until 2010 and will fulfil it. There is no chance of anything different occurring."
