Asian Champions League Match Day 5

The first part of Match Day 5 of the Asian Champions League was played last night as half of the groups began to take shape.

In the West, Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal became the first team push through to the Round of 16 after drawing with Al Sadd whilst in the East, Gamba Osaka and Suwon Bluewings both progressed despite Gamba winning 2-1 in Group G and in Group H, Adelaide United held reigning champions Pohang Steelers to a scoreless draw to see both sides qualify for the next phase.
