West Bromwich Albion are expected to announce the departure of Dan Ashworth to the FA this week.

The Birmingham Mail says in a unique situation and show of loyalty, Ashworth is expected to help his current employers find a replacement in order to maintain the high standards already in place.

His successor will have big boots to fill as the chief talent-spotter has worked wonders in the five years he has been at the club.
